Dermal fillers produce near-immediate results for most patients, but it may take two to three weeks for these results to be fully realized. Much of this depends on the type of dermal filler that has been used, the area of the face that has been treated, and the general condition of the patient’s skin.
At Genesis Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa, we offer Revanesse® Versa along with a full range of Restylane® fillers, all of which contain hyaluronic acid as the main ingredient. These fillers are known to begin smoothing and filling the skin as soon as they are injected and will continue to produce a softer and smoother appearance as the days progress.
Results from the fillers we offer can last for several months and your softer and more youthful look can easily be maintained through touch-up treatments. Non-surgical, well-tolerated, and fast-acting, fillers offer a remarkable way to address common concerns like loose skin, volume depletion, and wrinkles, making them one of the most popular cosmetic treatments at our office and throughout the country. If you are curious to learn what fillers can do for you, use the contact form on this page or call our Edmond or Norman office to schedule a consultation today.
Is There a Recovery Period for Dermal Fillers?
There is little to no downtime associated with dermal fillers, though you may have some redness at the injection site. Swelling and slight bruising may be possible as well, though severe reactions are extremely rare.
With proper skin care, common dermal filler side effects should resolve within seven to 14 days. During this time, they should not interfere with any of your normal activities. During your time at our office, we can discuss skincare products and at-home techniques that will assist in keeping your skin healthy and attractive both as you recover from dermal filler treatment and every day thereafter.
If you would like to schedule a dermal filler consultation, please call our Edmond location at 405-340-9949 or our Norman location at 405-310-6767 today. We welcome patients from OKC and all surrounding areas.
