Does Brazilian Butt Lift Really Work

Does Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery Really Work?

Fat transfer buttock augmentation, colloquially known as a Brazilian butt lift, is a safe and effective way to improve the size, shape, and symmetry of your bottom. During the procedure, fat from your body is transferred from a donor area to the buttocks, producing a fuller, softer, and more attractive derriere.

Brazilian butt lift is effective and long-lasting. Augmenting the buttocks with the body’s own fat allows for optimal contouring with minimal risks. Not only does the procedure work, it works wonders, and for good candidates, can continue to produce results for ten or more years.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift?

Good candidates for a Brazilian butt lift must be:

  • Nonsmokers who are in generally good health
  • Able to take time away from responsibilities to recover
  • Willing to carefully follow pre and postoperative directions
  • Realistic with expectations

To be a good candidate for a Brazilian butt lift, you will need to have an area on your body with enough fat to harvest for the procedure. Areas including the abdomen, hips, thighs, and flanks may all prove useful for this.

How Long Before I See Results?

Results from fat transfer buttock augmentation can take a few months to realize. During the initial stages of recovery, swelling will obscure your results. With proper care and rest, this should settle within two to six weeks.

Your body will reabsorb some of the fat from a Brazilian butt lift in the months following your procedure. Once this has ceased, your results will be finalized. This can take up to six months, though many people see results after two.

During your initial consultation at our Edmond or Norman office, Dr. Panchal will carefully evaluate your frame and review pertinent information to help you determine how long your recovery from BBL may take.
